A tired slab does not always need to be torn out. Cement-based micro-toppings and overlays rebuild the surface over existing concrete, correcting texture and appearance at a fraction of the disruption of replacement.
When resurfacing is the right call
If the slab is structurally sound but pitted, stained, patched or spalled, an overlay restores a uniform surface. If the slab is heaving or badly cracked through, we will tell you that replacement is the better spend.
The process
Grind and clean, repair, prime, then trowel the overlay to the profile required. The new surface can then be sealed, stained or coated with any of our resin systems.
Interior and exterior
Overlays work on basements, garages, patios, pool surrounds and walkways, with exterior systems specified for freeze-thaw exposure.
