Preparation matters more than the coating
Garage slabs are ground with diamond tooling to a profile the resin can bond to. Oil spots are degreased and cracks and spalls are filled. Coatings fail when this step is skipped, so we do not skip it.
Polyaspartic versus epoxy
Polyaspartic cures fast, tolerates a wider temperature range and holds colour under UV. Epoxy builds thickness economically. Many of our garage floors use both: an epoxy body coat with a polyaspartic topcoat.
Living with it
Sweep, then damp mop. No waxing, no sealing schedule, no grout to scrub.
