How a metallic epoxy floor is built
The slab is mechanically ground to open the concrete, cracks and pin-holes are repaired, and a pigmented base coat is applied. Metallic pigments are then poured into the wet resin and manipulated to create the veining and pooling you want. A clear topcoat locks the design in and sets the sheen level, from satin to full gloss.
